Description

 

Position Summary

 

Responsible for maintaining the parks food and beverage inventory in a neat and organized manner. Receives delivery of food and beverage items ensuring the delivery is accurate. Brings the various food and beverage outlets inventory needed for operation.  Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.

 

Duties and responsibilities

 

  • Receive inventory of food and beverage items
  • Assures items and quantities delivered match the order
  • Brings required items to various food and beverage outlets.
  • Ensuring that food is properly stored. 
  • Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers and all storage areas. 
  • Handles, stores and rotates all products properly.
  • Performing kitchen maintenance; emptying the trash, mopping floors and washing dishes. 
  • Attends staff meetings and other meetings as requested.
  • Perform all other duties as requested.

The employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is occasionally required to sit, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 75 pounds or less. The position requires manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.

 

Qualifications

 

Education and/or Professional Certification

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

 

Experience

 

  • 1-2 years of experience in a high volume, service focused restaurant preferred.

 

Specialized knowledge

 

·        Best practices for handling/ maintaining food and beverage inventory

 

Skills

 

  • Basic math skills for adjusting inventory

 

Abilities

 

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with the public and other team members in verbal and written form
  • Ability to work independently or with a team
  • Follow and enforce all waterpark standards
