Position Summary


Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the Human Resources Assistant provides general administrative support for all departments of the waterpark. This position will also be cross-trained to assist in other areas of the park as needed. Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.


Duties and responsibilities


  • Assisting with recruiting
  • Assisting with onboarding and associated paperwork.
  • Assisting with new employee orientations
  • Filing
  • Respond to employee questions
  • Uniform issuing / sales
  • Issuing Employee ID's


Physical demands


The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.


The employee is regularly required to stand and walk for long periods of time. The employee is occasionally required to sit, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 50 pounds or less. The position requires manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.


While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to wet and or humid conditions; outside weather conditions and extreme heat.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.  




Education and/or Professional Certification


  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred




  • Prior Administrative / HR Experience preferred
  • Prior Experience delivering superb guest service preferred.


Specialized knowledge


  • Basic computer skills
  • Basic understanding of human resources principles




·        Strong administrative skills


·        Strong written and verbal communication skills


·        Flexibility to work evenings, weekends & holidays


·        Strong computer experience including MS Office and Outlook


·        Ability to work independently


·        Maintain a high degree of confidentiality


·        Successful completion of a criminal background check




  • Must be able to communicate effectively with the public and other team members in verbal and written form
  • Ability to work independently or with a team
  • Follow and enforce all waterpark standards
